A new report from The National Partnership for Women & Families, with collaborators HealthConnect One, the National Health Law Program, and Tewa Women United has been published today. Community-based doula care services have been credited with making crucial differences in maternal health care in regard to pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum care. This report features evidence that supports the existing work within community-based doula services and highlights specific sites and organizations that are leading the way towards greater use of community-based doulas.
